Stable by nature. Engineered to scale.
We're a USA-based IT consultancy and custom software development company built for American businesses that cannot afford downtime. From MVPs to enterprise platforms, we engineer solutions that scale.
Why the 36th Element?
On the periodic table, the 36th element is Krypton, derived from the ancient Greek kryptos, meaning “the hidden one.”
We chose this name because the most resilient software is invisible. Like a noble gas, enterprise architecture shouldn’t be volatile, fragile, or noticed during operation; it should provide silent, unbreakable stability under pressure. We engineer the mission-critical foundation behind your business so your systems simply work, scale, and endure.
Our mark is a 6×6 lattice of thirty-six nodes. Thirty-five sit at rest; the thirty-sixth is solid, marking krypton's place in the table and the point where a system becomes stable.
How we operate
We're a US-led delivery team headquartered in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, serving clients nationwide, remote, across fintech, healthcare, logistics, and SaaS. Engagements are staffed by senior engineers directly — not junior staff augmented by offshore teams you never meet.
We take on a limited number of engagements at a time so every client gets a named lead, a written plan, and an engineering team that's accountable for the outcome, not just the hours billed.
Three rules we don't break.
Named engineers, not a pool
Every engagement has a named lead you can call — not a rotating pool of whoever's available.
Written opinions
We tell you what we actually think, in writing, even when the honest answer is "don't build this yet."
Production, not proposals
Engagements are scoped to ship something running, not to produce another deck for a steering committee.
Built for people who own the outcome.
Enterprise CIO / IT director
Modernizing legacy systems without breaking what already works.
Mid-market founder or CEO
Needs a technology partner who can operate like an internal team.
Startup CTO
Needs senior engineering capacity fast, without the hiring cycle.
Other agencies
White-label delivery capacity for work outside their core practice.
